Stop the adverse effects of light pollution including Energy waste and the air and water pollution caused by energy waste, Harm to human health, Harm to nocturnal wildlife and ecosystems, Reduced visibility at night, and Poor nighttime ambiance.

Lights in my area
I've noticed some random street lights that are newer in my area (Salt Lake City) and they actually direct the light to the ground as it should be. It was very obvious because it was a foggy night. Hopefully more of these light posts show up soon.
